Coir poles are great for training vine-like plants or anything with aerial roots. Just stake the pole securly at the base of your plant and gently tie the stems / branches to the pole. The roots will eventually find their way in.
They are particularly popular for Monstera Deliciosa (cheese plants) as they tend to grow anywhere and everywhere when left to their own devices. They also have incredibly long, strong aerial roots. It's better they find their way into the coir pole than your floors or walls! You'll also find most trailing plants will also climb when given a coir pole.
This is a 160cm coir pole.
